100% Cotton

100% Cotton, originally uploaded by Southernpixel.

It was strange seeing cotton growing back in December, the last time i saw cotton growing was in the late 1980’s in Madison, Mississippi where I lived at the time. In late October the road ways would look like it had snowed, because of the cotton falling off the trailers hauling cotton to the gins. And it brings back memories of a cotton seed plant that smelled so bad and good at the same time almost like popcorn that was about to burn.
